Air carriers – compliance with rules to prevent noise disturbance (notably during night-time hours)

In 2014 new restrictions in respect of the noise generated by aircrafts during night-time were introduced in France on Paris Charles de Gaulle airport.

French Authorities decided furthermore to raise to € 40.000 the maximum fine that may be levied, should said noise disturbance rules be violated.

These new rules have entered into force and are now applied by the competent authority, the so-called ACNUSA (autorité de contrôle des nuisances aéroportuaires).
