The “Macron” Ordinances of 22 September 2017 introduced a scale to cap the compensation owed by employers to employees unfairly dismissed, taking into account the size of the company on the one hand and the seniority of the dismissed employee on the other hand (so-called Macron scale).

Mandatory election of the Social and Economic Council in 2019 – organize it now!
Companies with at least 11 employees are required to set up this employee representative body as soon as the mandates of the current employee representatives expire and, in any case, no later than 31 December 2019.
